Projects: Farm Cottage

Local alpaca farming couple purchased an 11 acre property that contained a modest unused existing livestock barn. They had the desire to create a welcoming guest cottage on the property and decided to use the attic of the barn for that purpose.

Alight Design created the plans to turn this barn into an attractive guest cottage.

Special consideration had to be paid to make a barn into a functioning residence, including sewer and water lines, insulation, and amenities.
